Hi, welcome to my privacy policy

Visiting and browsing my website is free, and I am delighted you have chosen to explore here. When you use this site you consent to some things which happen behind the internet scenes of the pages you browse.

In the following lines I will endeavour to make clear what you are consenting to.

Most simply, there are two ways your information may be gathered on this website.

Explicitly – If you complete a form, participate in a survey, purchase from the online store or email me with an order or query, I collect and hold information for the purposes of communicating and transacting with you.

Implicitly – Cookies recognise you and remember you on this site (a bit like the way a shop assistant recalls your last visit or cctv records your movements around the store). I am now required to invite you to decide whether you consent to this the first time you visit the site - that is the purpose of the message that should have popped up when you first arrived at my website.

I use all this information in two ways.

1. Promotionally – If you have given me your information explicitly, I trust this to mean that I may have something of future interest to you and so I will keep in touch to tell you about my new similar products and services.

2. Necessarily – in order to provide a response to a query, complete a sale, or whatever else, I may need to do something practical. On rare occasions I may need to do something external with the information you give me – eg contact details to a courier. But I do not sell your information or trade it for any reason, nor do I pass information for marketing or advertising purposes. I will only release your information if and when required to do so by law.

The security of the data I hold about you is in my control when I download it to my pc for administration purposes, and the systems I use are Dropbox, my disordered filing system and front door security. Online security of data collected via my website is managed by external providers who I have used for many years, namely Dropbox and my web provider Yola Inc.both of whom comply with their legal requirements and whoI choose to remain with because I believe each takes data protection seriously.

Below is the long of the above! Should you find something in the below that concerns you about how your personal information is used by the websites I administrate, please do email me at nicole1bridge@gmail.com.
